With a change of format to last year’s Dryandra Chase short course, the King of the Hill will challenge competitors to a game of strategy – winners will be determined by the most number of laps completed in the shortest time. The field will be split into two heats for each of the three sections across Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May 2019. Competitors will be allowed one hour and a maximum of five laps per heat.
All WA competitors were invited to attend this multi-club event. Entries are now closed with a field of 21 cars in seven classes ready to battle it out for the title of King of the Hill. Being a short course, laps are 15km in length, and with multiple vantage points from the hill and only one hour from Perth, this event is a great one to bring the family, friends, spectators and sponsors along.
Frying Out Loud food truck will be serving up burgers, chips and other trackside staples for breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday. Vintage caravan bar the Little Wheel-Bar-O will have your beverage needs covered Saturday and Sunday with espresso coffee and a range of beer, wine and spirits, and local WA musician Christian will be playing all the rock classics to keep the party going Saturday night.
For consideration of the drivers and co-drivers getting in their race cars early in the mornings, a noise curfew applies at midnight Friday and Saturday nights.
No motorbikes. No dogs. No individual camp fires. Read the Supplementary Regulations for all event details for both competitors and spectators. At the request of the property owners, please take all rubbish home with you.
Thanks to our event sponsor Racegear WA for their continued support of our short course event this year. Make sure you check them out on their website and socials.
