The 2019 WAORRA Club Championship is a series of four events run by the WA Off-Road Racing Association:
Racegear WA Brookton King of the Hill | 11-12 May | Round 1 WAORRA Championship Series multi-club (short-course) |
Marsue Transport Bencubbin 400 | 1-2 June | Round 2 WAORRA Championship Series and Round 3 WAORC state championship (long-course) |
Cochrane’s Transport Mid-West Challenge |
17-18 August | Round 3 WAORRA Championship Series and Round 4 WAORC state championship (long-course) |
Three Springs 360 | 28-29 September | Round 4 WAORRA Championship Series and Round 5 WAORC state championship (long-course) |
Following the same format as last year, our three long course events, the Bencubbin 400, the Mid-West Challenge, and the Three Springs 360, will still run as part of the 2019 CAMS, WA Off Road Racing Championship, again with both State and multi-club options available.
The shorter series and reduced fee for multi-club entrants makes the WAORRA Championship Series perfect for entry-level racers, people who like to save a few dollars on entry fees, or people who can’t commit to the full State series due to work or family commitments.
Anyone can enter all four events at the discounted multi-club rate, however points are awarded to WAORRA members only. For example, if you finish a race third in class but the first and second place getters are non-WAORRA members, you will be given first in class points. We tally the totals at the end of the year and present trophies to the championship winners at our end of year function.
