Want to know what becoming an official is all about?
We rely on an army of volunteer officials to run our events and ensure competitor safety. The Motorsport Australia National Officiating Program was established for the grading, licensing, training and recognition of volunteer motor sport officials.
If you are interested in joining us as a volunteer official, you can start as a trainee and work your way up to bronze, silver, or even gold level. Please see the Motorsport Australia website for more information about the licensing structure and pathway.

To get started, you can contact the Clerk of Course or Organising Committee for the next upcoming event (contact details are listed in the Supplementary Regulations for each event) to find out which positions are available. Then sign up as a trainee for that event, and if you like the role, you can then apply for an official’s license through Motorsport Australia.
