Track marking for the Cochrane’s Transport Mid-West Challenge will be held over the weekend of 4-5 August 2018. If you are free this weekend we’d appreciate some help!
We need helpers to mark out the pits, start/finish line, chicane, prologue track and full track. We have done a lot of site works and clearing of the track already but there is still more to do to get it race-ready. We also need helpers to make seats out of logs, fix a wheel on the rubbish trailer, etc.
Meet at the track at around 8:30-9:00am Saturday 4 August. BYO gloves for working with droppers and wire. We’ll put on a BBQ lunch on Saturday, and on Saturday night we’ll head to the pub for a meal and good times. For those staying overnight, camping is available at the track (no facilities – bring a swag) or at the dongas in Three Springs. We should be finished by around 3pm Sunday.
Many hands will make this job much easier (and competitors – you get the added advantage of getting a good look at the new sections of track before anyone else!).
