WAORC To Run Under CAMS in 2017

The presidents and elected panel representatives from four WA Off-Road Racing Clubs (GORRC, NCC, WAORRA and WDR) were invited to meet on Wednesday 25 January in relation to the recent move to AASA insurance by several high profile clubs outside of Western Australia.

In light of existing agreements already in place for the 2017 season and given that the start of the 2017 WAORC is just over 1 month away, the clubs unanimously agreed to continue to run all 6 rounds of the 2017 Carnarvon Motel Western Australian Off-Road Racing Championship under CAMS sanctioning. This united decision will allow the clubs to continue to work together in providing a healthy, strong six round state championship and continue the work already done to raise the profile of the sport and the quality of events in Western Australia.

For further information, come along to the next WAORRA club meeting on Tuesday 14 March.

Please remember to keep any comments, particularly those on social media constructive and remember that this has been a united and unanimous decision by the clubs in Western Australia.
